Drawstring Bags (Velvet)
Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive soft feel. By extension, the word velvety means "smooth like velvet." Velvet can be made from either synthetic or natural fibres.
The earliest velvets were made of silk but today cotton is used to produce this soft, shiny and sleek fabric. Velvet is mainly used in upholstery, for curtains and the weight of this velvet makes it ideal for garments such as dresses and jackets.
